Mike and Cindy Scroggins are your hosts and delight in making your experience at Serendipity phenomenally surprising. As you read through Serendipity's guestbook, you quickly discover that Mike and Cindy provide the little touches that help make your stay at Serendipity relaxing and memorable.
Cindy is a self-proclaimed "hotel snob" and imbues Serendipity with a chicness and comfort worthy of the most discriminating. Creating an atmosphere of privacy, romance and wonder guided Cindy in selecting each item used in decorating this charming guest haus. Much of the décor chosen comes from family treasures.
The travel trunk at the foot of the bed came from her grandmother's attic. When Cindy opened it, it was full of corsets! The table for two in the upstairs living area was a table from her grandmother's house where they shared family meals. Many of the other vintage items were selected for their uniqueness and wonder. Just imagine what stories are in the fabrics of the hand-pieced quilt on the wall behind the bed or the travel cases upstairs!
Mike and Cindy themselves prefer bed and breakfasts when they travel. They have built relationships with the hosts of where they have repeatedly stayed. They look forward to building those sames sorts of relationships with you each time your venture back to Fredericksburg.
